Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of the web analysis service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses “cookies.” These are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device and that enable an analysis of the website usage. Information generated by cookies with regard to your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The location of the server is usually the USA.

Google Analytics cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a justifiable interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize our website as well as advertising if applicable.

IP anonymization

We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymization function. This ensures that Google truncates your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, before transmitting it to the USA. There may be exceptional cases in which Google transmits the full IP address to a server in the USA and truncates it there. Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, generate reports about website activities, and provide us with further services related to website usage and Internet usage. The IP addresses transmitted by Google Analytics are not combined with other data from Google.

Browser plug-in

You can prevent your web browser from setting cookies. However, this might limit some of the functions of our website. You can also prohibit the collection of data regarding your website usage, including your IP address together with subsequent processing by Google. This can be done by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which will prevent the collection of your data during future visits to our website: Disable Google Analytics.

You can find detailed information about the handling of user data by Google Analytics in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Order processing

In order to fully comply with the statutory data protection requirements, we have concluded a contract with Google regarding order processing.

This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor details from third-party providers. The data cannot be attributed to a specific person. You can disable this function at any time. This can be done via the display settings in your Google account or by generally prohibiting the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as described under the item “Objection to data collection.”
